Camphor Tree is a traditional medicinal plant for treating heart conditions, colds and fevers. Camphor oil is refined from leaves of Camphor Tree and can be used to serve as a skincare product.



Interesting Fact #2: Making Cabinets


In Hakka culture, people use camphor wood to make chests for holding Hakka girls’ dowry when they get married. This is because camphor wood is insect-repellent. The camphor wood can also give the dowry a delicious scent.
